Privacy Policy

Subscribers' privacy is imperative at DataFinder. That's why it is our basic tenet to keep our subscribers fully informed about the use of their personal information prior to their choosing to subscribe to DataFinder.

Our Policy

The DataFinder is permission-based marketing. DataFinder collects the information provided by our subscribers at our, and affiliated, websites. DataFinder also purchases and manages opt-in email lists generated by other organizations. Subscribers must provide their email address and categories of special interests. Optional information such as postal address, zip code, gender, and age may also be supplied at the subscriber's discretion. DataFinder confirms all subscriptions via email. After confirmation, at which time the subscriber has "opted-in," DataFinder will assure the authenticity of the record by matching it against our database of consumers. DataFinder will then send you offer for goods and services relevant to your categories of interest. Additionally, as part of our effort to bring DataFinder subscribers the best possible offers, subscribers will receive special offers that would be of value to any online consumer. DataFinder values your privacy. Our subscribers' email addresses will only be shared with third parties where (i) third party has sufficiently demonstrated to DataFinder that their product or service is a direct match for a subscriber's special interests (ii) if compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities. With the exception of email transmissions conducted by a third party to its customer database, all email transmissions will be conducted by DataFinder. The DataFinder databases are proprietary. However, DataFinder does, provide discretionary "optional" information such as name, postal address, zip code, age, gender, etc. to third parties for non-electronic media. DataFinder always provides notice and choice to all subscribers. Once, a subscriber un-subscribes and chooses to be removed from DataFinder, the subscriber will no longer receive any offers from DataFinder unless the subscriber later opts-in. Cookies are randomly generated to track unique customer conversions. No personal information is ever stored within such cookies. DataFinder tracks responses to advertising campaigns;however, DataFinder does not track subscriber web browsing activities. Please note that some of our customers' websites may use cookies; therefore, it is recommended that our subscribers take the time to review the privacy policies, when provided, of any websites prior to entering their information.

Why did you receive an email from our system?
If you received an e-mail from us, it is because you opted-in to one of our clients' email lists. Our clients certify that all e-mail addresses used in our system are opt-in names that have given permission to the client to send them e-mail. We promise to keep your e-mail address secure and private and will not use it for other purposes.
How do I get off an email list?
Each e-mail sent through the DataFinder system contains a link that allows subscribers to unsubscribe from receiving e-mails from the sender. Each e-mail contains an easy and automated way for you to unsubscribe. You may also change your expressed interests at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe or change your interests, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of any e-mail. Will your information ever be shared, sold or rented? We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information without your advance permission, unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is available only to employees responsible for managing this data.
Confirmed Opt-In
DataFinder has taken an additional step for permission-based marketing by building the technology for "confirmed opt-in" into its tools. E-mails marked as "confirmed opt-in" within DataFinder system automatically send a follow-up e-mail to each subscriber asking him to verify that he wishes to receive communications via e-mail. Only those subscribers responding affirmatively will be opted-in to future mailings sent via the DataFinder system. Confirmed opt-in leads to: 1. Better Results. E-mail marketing is most effective when messages are anticipated, personal and relevant. Sending unsolicited e-mail reduces deliverability and ROI. 2. A Reliable Reputation. By verifying that subscribers want to hear from your organization, you will avoid complaints and keep your brand reputable. 3. Better Deliverability. Permission e-mail lists usually generate far fewer complaints than optout lists. This leads to a lower risk of blocking and better relationships with ISPs.
